Homeschooling

When you decided to venture forth on this homeschooling journey, you probably didn’t realize the roller coaster ride it would become. Some days all your best-laid plans will fail. Other days things will fall into place with little effort from you. Each day, each week– yes, even each year– will be different, but please know you are not alone!

I’ve been homeschooling for over 20 years. When I first started this exciting journey, I was blessed with a very strong local group, filled with moms at various stages of homeschooling. As I put more notches in my pencil case, I realized I had become a veteran homeschool mom. What? Me?! A veteran homeschooling mom? It certainly didn’t seem possible. I still had so much to learn!

It was then that I realized I could be in the learning stages and still mentor other moms. The posts in this category cover much of the tips, suggestions, and advice that I have given to ‘newbie’ homeschool moms over the years. I’ve even had the honor of encouraging moms who have been homeschooling longer than I have– that can be humbling!

I pray these articles will bless you, too.
